If anyone has a lineup for the Birds I'd be curious to see who is playing this year. I know Al Dean/Ty Seidle/Ryan Egan/Austin Abner/ but outside of that not sure who they have.

0-6, even divided by three seasons, could still be the worst three starts for HHS at the frosh level in memory, all in one season. I can't remember any freshman teams at Highlands going 0-2 to start the year, much less, 0-6.

Pretty much. Actually, it's beyond the realm of reason at a place like HHS. I can't understand how it happens.

Not sure either but I can tell you that if they go 0 for the season they are a better group for ridding themselves of the bad apples, athletes or not. At some point kids need to grow up and either commit to their team and school or hit the high road. I commend the kids that they put out there for doing that. I think they will turn it around, HHS has a very good coach in Matt Stephens. He coached the 8th grade group 2 yrs ago that won the state tournament down at KBA.

Wow, no Assistant? That is not good. No way coaches can see everything on the floor when your working refs, watching the ball and managing the clock.

Not many coaches at the freshmen level have assistants. Not many people want to "volunteer" for the job.

Amen! This is a good group of kids. There may be a lack of seasoning due to sitting behind some of the athletes you refer to but I support them all they way!
