In keeping with the bolded portion of "second guessing"...and 'Crunch can attest to this...I SWEAR we used to have an "S" flag for the cheerleaders. Have I been nippin' the egg nog too much or does anyone else remember it?

Did HHS already have the football banquet? Trinity's is scheduled for third weekend of January. St. Xavier had their banquet during the week after the state finals. The Tigers choose to have their banquet in house and on a school night. They also separate freshmen banquet from varsity banquet. Trinity has their banquet offsite at a downtown hotel conference room and all players are introduced and receive their team honors and those who won individual honors like All-State or All-District are recognized.

From what I have heard, this one will be longer.

 

They recognized all the players. Freshman first. Something is said about each player. Then after they are all introduced, awards are handed out. At the beginning of the banquet and during lunch, everyone is treated to watching the year in highlights on the big screens around the room.

Year in, year out, the HHS' football banquet is the best banquet I've ever been to, regardless of other banquet's topic or speaker...

Sounds like it was great. Especially recognizing every varsity player. I was disappointed with Dixie's banquet this year. I've been to better middle school football banquets.
