Elliott Co. has a great team with a lot of pride. I wish them the best this year. Those kids live and love the game. Can't wait until they play Mason Co. That should be a classic!!!!!!!!!:fight:

People that have not seen Elliott tend to greatly underrate them, after watching the state tourney for many years this is definetly a team that could be playing on Saturday

I'll stand by my statement that this team could make a run at the championship game this season or definately next.

Elliott beat Raceland by 32 so I say they beat East by 42 because Raceland is at least 10 points better than East

 

Raceland fans live in a dream world. Raceland basketball has been and will continue to be a non-factor. They may beat some teams this year, especially in that sub-par district. They may beat East, who knows. One thing is for sure they are not 10 points better than East. Ask Coach Johnson how many times he beat East over the years. I am sure he will know the answer off the top of his head!!!! Back on topic, should be a good game tuesday night, East has dominated the series over the years, Elliott fans always get up to play East, Elliott is loaded this year and East will have to handle the basketball extremely well to pull this one off.

Wow! Where is Elliott ranked in the USA Today top 25? They must be absolutely unstoppable. Seriously though, everyone know Elliott is very talented and a good team. I just can't see them beating everyone the play by 40-60 points. They will have some close games along the way. Other teams are still trying to mesh players from other sports into their lineups, Elliott has no other sports so they should be far ahead in December, and are.

I'm not an Elliot fan but when a school from a county of less than 7,000 can compete with a team from a county of greater than 70,000 (i.e. Christian etc.) it's good for the sport. You gotta love that!

I would be a little bit disappointed if Elliott and Mason Co face off in the 5/3rd semis. I know there are a lot of games before that, but I would prefer them waiting til February when I can see it first hand. :lol:

 

With that said, I don't know if any 16th team can hang with Elliott this year. I say this is another win they win going away.
