New Uniforms For UK Next Season?

Featured Replies

I always liked the regular blue/white jersey with KENTUCKY on the front. I also liked the block K on the helmet more than the interlocked UK, too.

Another peave is when the basketball teams have their school name across their backsides. I hate that.

I myself think its pretty cool when a school has new uniforms. I like to current uni's but Oregons are something else. Im not saying go as far as they have but have a little fun with them. I think it should be up to the player what kinda uniforms they want. They are the ones putting themselves out there on the feild and I think they deserve to wear what they want when they play.

I don't care as long as they get rid of the ugly blue football pants. They are not even the same blue as the jerseys:mad:

Yea the blue pant, jersey, helmet combo is UGLY, Id like to see UK go to White helmet w/ a blue face mask as the main helmet, but also have an alternate Uni or 2 that would include a black helmet, kind of like a black out type thing similar to UL

I've always wanted to see UK bust out all blacks against UK (which would obviously have to be a game at UK). Kind of like the ND greens but with a better outcome.

I don't. I wish they'd pick a uniform and stay with it. When people think of Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, and LSU, what do they identify with? The same thing they have for the last 30 or so years. In football, the uniform is part of the tradition. It's hard to identify or build a tradition with a team that changes their look, every time the wind changes direction.

All of the teams I have in bold have worn either a throw-back jersey or have changed the uni's for certain games in the past few years.

Gamer31, do you have any info on this?

Top secret info!!!

I think is it very exciting. Most kids love the Ducks unis and I think it will help UK's exposure and recruiting!

I agree.

Maybe they will get a new sponsor and go to the denim look lol.

Their current jerseys look like a basketball jersey with a t-shirt under it. I would like a throw back look also. Something simple blue and white and bring back the K.

At least we get an "A" for something!

Yeah.

There are no major changes to the uniform. They are able to be mixed and matched, i.e. blue jersey whit pants and vice versa. The insert is no longer on the side panels. As there is another design on the pants and jersey. Also the silver piping is gone from the jerseys. It will still say KENTUCKY across the chest. Nothing major just some fine tuning!

Sounds good gamer. You must be pretty close to the program to know all that info.

I might have a connection!
