Any thoughts?

 

My thinking is this is going to be a very good and close game. I think Maegley will be too much for Gallatin to handle and SK wins a close by 4.

I think the guard play for Gallatin will be better then SK, but SK wins the battle inside. This game should be a fun one back and fourth since it is in Gallatin I will say Gallatin 69 SK 67.

This week Gallatin will find out how far they have come as a team... They play Trimble County Tuesday, Simon Kenton on Friday, and Anderson County at Anderson on Saturday. This week will give coach Jones and company a better feel for where they are at, and should expose the things they will need to work on to be ready for January and March. Go Cats!

Why would SK overlook anyone? Gallatin should proove to be a good game for the Pioneers. Gallatin is among the top 5 teams in the 8th, and so is SK.

Gallatin is a very worthy opponent and will play strong. But you know what I mean when I say overlook. I have heard a number of times that SK will alway have a strong possibilty of wininng the 8th region. That is how they think. They look at it if they are as strong as Scott County and they are going to Gallatin County way down there....:jump:

I hope SK does overlook Gallatin... but then again Steiner is a good coach and I doubt he will allow that to happen. Most folks thought that SK was a cake walk in the 8th to get to Rupp. So far they have been in the region finals twice and had to go back home as the bridesmaid - never the bride.

 

Having said that, since I have been following Gallatin County, they have never been to the region finals. Maybe this is the year for them to get there, who knows? I know this much though, come next Sunday night, Gallatin will know what they are going to have to improve upon to get to that game. They will have played 2 of the stronger teams in the region this week. Win them or not, they better walk away having learned a little about themselves.:walk:

I cannot wait to see the outcome..win or lose GC will know what they have to do to improve. I would very much like to see GC in the region finals. They are working hard. :ylsuper:

In case you all forgot GC plays Trimble Tuesday. I'm sure the boys from GC know not to look past anyone on their schedule especially a tough TC team.

Actually, the first year that SK was in the 8th region they were preseason ranked 5th to win the regional title. Last year they were considered the best team all year but had a bad regional finals game. Back to this game, i think that sk wins by 10. 65-55
