I would really like to do some type of classic here in Louisville.

I would have T play Highlands and X play TBD?? (on the TBD) it must be a school that draws well. I would also be willing to do a 3rd game as well but have no idea who to invite.

I am not trying to jack this thread and will start my own if needed but I would really like to do some type of classic here in Louisville.

You know, after we tossed this around the other day, I got to thinking. Since we're dreaming big, how about one of the Cincinnati schools?

How about T,X and HHS against Colerain, CincyX and Elder?

Since when do you not belong in your own personal thread? :D

And I still llike the idea of bringing in a Cincy team like Colerain, Moeller, or...eww...Elder.

What about Cov Cath as your TBD?

St. X played Cov Cath this year and they were very competitive in the first half. Also I know one of the senior parents from their team. They told me this was a down year for Cov. Cath. This tells me they must be pretty competitve most years.

They almost always are.

No. The Ky schools play against the OH schools.

T/Colerain

HHS/Cincy St X

X/Elder

Rotate each year, but always a Ky school against a Cincy school

I'd rather find a way to work in a T/HHS match-up.

You would probably have to wait until the '09 season. I think most schedules have been set for the first two years of 6A. I know St. X set a mirror schedule, home and home, in 2007 and 2008. as a part of that schedule, St X. and Cov Cath already play each other the last game of their seasons in '07 and '08.

The game was competitive going into the 4th, with X having a 17 - 14 lead in an eventual 31 - 14 victory.

The X-men come to Park Hills next year and I hope the series is continued beyond that.

I'd rather find a way to work in a T/HHS match-up.

I'd rather see that as a regular season game. We played X in the regular season last couple of seasons.

What if you thru in Lex Catholic and Lex Christian and do a Kentucky High School Football Bermuda Triangle thing. Then rotate the game site between UofL PJCS, UK Commonwealth Stadium and Paul Brown Stadium.

(Unless there is some other venue in NKY that would be comparable).

Year 1

Trinity Vs. Highlands

Cov Catholic Vs. Lex Christian

Lex Catholic Vs. St. X

Year 2

T Vs. Cov Catholic

HHS Vs. Lex Catholic

Lex Christian Vs. St. X

Year 3

T Vs. Lex Christian

Lex CatholicVs. Cov Catholic

HHS Vs. St. X

Year 4

T Vs. Lex Catholic

HHS Vs. Lex Christian

Cov Catholic Vs. St. X

Then start all over again.
