Lets here some thoughts on next year's squad.

Start with Duece Finch. With the usual stable of linemen StX has, I think Finch makes them the pre-season favorite.

A 100% Duece Finch may be enough to lead any team to a state title.75%-80% was almost enough this year. Before his injury he was unstopable. I look for him to be even more improved next year with another year in the weight room. DJ Hall will be a factor and probably will go both ways, the QB will be a strenght, look for at least 1 soph. to be in the backfield with Duece probably Beech as he is already 200lbs+, kicking game has Wyatt back, all and all another very solid club with a buch of good juniors. The line will be larger because the JV line was bigger than the varsity last year.

Who was the 6A title game MVP?

X should be position to have a pretty good year in 2008. Lets see how it all plays out... I saw a lot of good things from the JV bunch this year. Hopefully that will transpire to greater things on the Varsity level.

Really gone to take some hard thinking to not put the defending champs as preseason no 1. Tigers will be back in the same boat as this past year. NO 6A team deserves any preseason or during the season no 1 ranking other than the rocks. Until someone takes them OUT, they are no 1.

Tigers should be solid in many areas, they need to be more than solid.....

You'll hear from craig brutcher as a D-lineman, his twin brother matt will have QB starting position. Trevor Foy, Zach Kamber, Emmanuel Wright, DJ Hall, John Taylor, and Michael McCormick will also standout on the Tiger Defense. On offense, in addition to Duece, plan to see Jerimiah Neal (will be junior) and Beech. Sweeney and Botner will be the WRs. Look for Brian Buehner to be getting some good time as QB.

Agree...in addition I would expect Jermaine Dorsey to start at the other D end spot, Jake Field at the other D tackle spot. The JV secondary this year was outstanding...and I expect Hall and Kamber to be well supported by Lawson and Sears. Big shoes to fill at our three linebacker spots....

Let's not forget our leading interceptor this year Sam Galbraith, and Patrick Kilkelly and Nolan Burckle on the defense. On offense, Nick Baisch at center and Seth Harvey should provide some beef at 300 pounds at right tackle along with TE Brian Bauscher and Chris Esterle. Don't be surprised to see Hall on offense too. JV's went 10-0 so some spots may have competition.

^ ^ Yep, Santa may not be so nice next year. Enjoy this years GIFT.

We are going to start the 2008 threads soon.
