An interesting slate of events.

 

Pendleton County and Ashland pit the Wildcats against former head coach Buddy Biggs.

 

Brossart and Deming should give some indication of how the competition is beginning to stack up for the 10th Region "A" off in the future.

 

St. Patrick and Harrison County should be a great game as well. Will be interesting to see how the Saints rebound from their Fleming County loss (if they haven't already).

Deming over BB? Not as long as Mike Code is still coaching. He may not have the talent like last year but his coaching skills will flourish. Did you see the Bishop Brossart vs Pendelton game?

I second that....But I would like to see Deming pull an upset.

I don't really see where it would be that big of an upset if Deming knocked off Brossart. This is will be one of their biggest games of the year with a big crowd. Deming is not a bad team while Brossart is down. I look for Deming to pull out a close one.

Deming was very impressive at St. Patrick when we scouted the game.

 

This is a very nice, potentially explosive Deming basketball team.

 

It could also be a key prep race for the 10th Region "A" tournament later on in late January. We are also slated to meet the Devils in the Bracken County Holiday Tournament on December 28th.

 

It will be a classic matchup of Deming offense, vs Brossart's defense.

 

I have no idea how the game will play out, BUT if Brossart can prevail, it will be a good win for the Stangs.

They would have to be considered the favorite, probably a decided one, especially at home over Brossart?? Some interesting games in this tourney this year such as this matchup and the "coaching angle" in the PC/Ashland game!!

Coaches don't win games, the players do. Bishop Brossart kids won that game, Mike Code didn't. When the loss is taken, the coach takes that responsibility. Talk with any coach, they will tell you that more times than not.
