Looks like a pretty thorough discussion at this point .... I think its time for a poll! (PB, WKU, EKU, UK, Morehead St.) Anyone know how to set the polling?

Again, unless you are in far Eastern Kentucky with not great access to Bowling Green, you have no grounds to complain if it were in Bowling Green.

If the finals were to leave Louisville it would have a negative impact on the event. Louisville really is the most centrally located area for all parties involved, AND they have the most available rooms, parking, eateries, etc....Never mind, the occassional Louisville-vs-Louisville final.

No doubt. But in the event of it being shut down for a year, WKU would not be a bad alternative. I believe many have invisioned that BG is located in far Western Kentucky, which is not the case. It would still be at least a 2 hour drive for teams on the far western part of the state.

 

With the exception of T and X matching up, I do think the "negative impact" is that big of a deal. Our finals do not draw that many casual fans.

I honestly think it would garner the most fans in NKY.....but there's not a good place to play.
