Yeah Mason will win this one easy, but knowing Coach O'hearn personally he is not the type of coach to run the score up. If the Royals get up big then you will see the JV team most of the 4th.

 

It should be more than just the 4th quarter..look for the JV to see most of the action in this game.

Starters will not see that many more min. (if things get out of hand) than the bench.

 

But, the bench players still need to play their game full speed until the last few minutes or its not a benefit.

Mason is one of the few programs in the state that are an elite program year in, year out, yet the staff and players always have class... They won't run it up, but it still won't be close...

Every one beats everyone by 30-50 if they are a lot better team and have since I began watching basketball 30years ago. Mason will probably beat Scott by 30-40 but there won't be a thing wrong with it and it will not mean they have no class. If you get a 30

pt lead and put your bench in and they are better than the opposition and the margin is still growing what do you do tell them to quit playing?????????

I suspect we will see a lot of reserves in this game. Remember the Royals have to ride a bus to Pikeville the next day for a game with a top rated Tenn. team. Then Saturday night a bus back to Northern Ky to stay in a hotel and leave for Hawaii Sunday morning. Might be a bit tiring but noone is complaining i am sure.

When reserves are better than the opposition in a lopsided game, the score can get out of hand. Coaches are seldom satisfied in any sport with a score large enough as always fearful of a comeback by a team that continues to play hard i.e. Cov Cath. Cant tell kids not to play and when reserves are playing and continue to outplay and outscore opponents this is just part of the game. This happens is every sport regardless of sport or age of the players.

True that Papa.Way I see it Mason has to worry about Mason not making all the other teams fans in the state happy with how there game comes out.

Royal s put it on cruise control and win in a Boring game. :sleep: Most of the starters probably won't see much time in the second half. Darius may have some good dunks though may be worth the price of admission.

Focus will be a key here, the Royals need to stay focused with a travel trip and game tomorrow at Pikeville, and then off in the friendly skies to warmer climate.
