Why the big deal about the weather on Friday?

Anyone know if they tarp the field ? I know some fields have tarps ,not sure about Uof L.

Tomorrow: Mostly cloudy. Rain and snow showers in the morning. A few rain showers in the afternoon. High 46F. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precip 30%.

I dont think the weather will be all that bad if you read the forecast it says a few showers in the afternoon, they are only giving a 30% chance. I think its going to be alright weather.

Sounds like it may be nasty for those going to the first game though -- snow, sleet, freezing rain.

Well I guess I was more thinking along the lines of the AAA game, but your right it will be a nasty morning, I just hope it doesnt rain much for the AAA game, my wife is pregnant and if it rains, she will not be much fun to be around the rest of the day..lol But she supports the Pirates and thats all that matters..

So thirty percent chance, does that mean it is going to lightly rain the entire game or is it only going to rain 30% of the game?

I'm scared it means 30% chance of rain, 70% chance of sleet and snow!

From what I looked at on weather.com, looks like bad weather tonight into morning, stopping around 9am and clearing thru 3pm.. So, 1A game looks dry, git-r-done!
