November 30, 200718 yr Sorry I have to post this again but what is the word were the UL fans doing storming the field. Will someone that was there tell how many it really was because it was hard to see they cut away from it.
November 30, 200718 yr YES!!! YES!!! YES!!! YES!!! Great for the seniors! Love ya Carter, Smith, Jackson, Brohm, Russell, Carmody, Flannery, Palmer, Butler, Barlowe, Benson, Giacomini, Kuhn, Barnidge, Douglas, Cox and Williams. Good luck to you all! How about Powell!?! I knew that he was gonig to be good, but WOW. I doubt there is much of a running back competition next year. That guy is SICK! Love ya CARDS.... LOVE YA!!! :dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa
November 30, 200718 yr I flipped over during half time of the Packers/Cowboys game. I was shocked to see Louisville getting beat like they were. I was even more shocked when I saw this score. The little bit I watched I was feeling bad to see Brian go out like that. Glad to see he is going out with a W at his last home game.
November 30, 200718 yr Louisville made one heck of a comeback to say the least. Brohm really showed me a lot (again) tonight. His team was basically "dead" and he kept going. I make no apologies in that I was pulling for Rutgers but I wil give credit where it is due. After the 1st qtr and when I saw the U.L. players just showing no emotion, having penalty after penalty and most all "lack of focus/dicipline" type penalties.
November 30, 200718 yr This is how my night went: Went and met up with my season ticket crew + a friend... would've had TWO friends but one backed out, so I'm keeping that ticket as a reminder of this game. Went to the game, got really cold, and really sore-throated. The third quarter is about to finish up, Rutgers get yet another injury in the long game, and my friends are all getting tired and too cold for comfort, so, FOR THE FIRST ANd ONLY TIME EVER, I agree to leave early. The season had been too dissappointing to finish watching. ...an hour later I flip to hear Paul Rogers say in a low, emotionless voice usually indicitive of a loss: "they made last last tackle and that was the end of it... in this THRILLING COMEBACK WIN FOR THE CARDINALS!!!" And to hear that Art Carmody's kick was the difference added a loving fuel to my regretful fire as I had told my friends all season long that I wanted to make a sign for this game saying "ART CARMODY FOR HEISMAN!!!" So happy, yet so dissappointed in myself. GO CARDS!!!

November 30, 200718 yr It's a win/lose Ram but I know how you feel. I almost left the UK vs LSU game and the UK vs Tenn games.
November 30, 200718 yr Sorry I have to post this again but what is the word were the UL fans doing storming the field. Will someone that was there tell how many it really was because it was hard to see they cut away from it. Just got home from the game and the fourth quarter was awesome. Scoring the last 17 points of the game; the pass to Harry Douglas and then the field goal kick by Art Carmody to win the game was so appropriate for these two seniors. And...we stormed the field because Art Carmody made NCAA history tonight by scoring the most field goals by a kicker - not to mention that it was his first field goal that actually was a game winning kick.

Will someone that was there tell how many it really was because it was hard to see they cut away from it. My two guesses: A) They were trying to stay warm. B) It's the first thing we've had to be happy about this year.
