coldweatherfan Posted November 28, 2007 Author Posted November 28, 2007 Hoping my TROY TROJANS are back in this again!!:ylsuper: They have a tough game this week against Florida Atlantic. But with 8 wins your Trojans are going bowling somewhere.
jahearme Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 They have a tough game this week against Florida Atlantic. But with 8 wins your Trojans are going bowling somewhere. I hope you are right. Still wanna beat FAU Saturday for back-to-back Sun Belt Titles though! :thumb:

I think there will be enough 7-5 "BCS" schools to take all the at-large spots. If Troy wants to guarantee a bid, better beat FAU!

coldweatherfan Posted November 28, 2007 Author Posted November 28, 2007 I think there will be enough 7-5 "BCS" schools to take all the at-large spots. If Troy wants to guarantee a bid, better beat FAU! It doesn't look that way. The SEC is 1 short. 9-slots 8 teams with 7 wins The Big 12 is 2 short. 8-slots 6 teams with 7 wins. If 2 teams make the BCS they are 3 short. The Pac 10 is 2 short right now. The need both UCLA and Cal to win to fill their 6 slots. And this conference still has a chance of getting 2 teams in BCS games? That just amazes me. The Big Ten is 1 over right now. 7-slots 8 teams with 7 wins. If OSU plays for championship and Illinois goes to the Rose they are even. The ACC is 1 over. 6-slots 7 teams with 7 wins. The Big East is 1 short. 6-slots 5 teams with 7 wins.
gametime Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 The Big East only has 5 slots this year. BCS, Sun, Car Care, Papa John's, International...
bigblueinsanity Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 If UL wins do they go to the International.?
gametime Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 If UL wins do they go to the International.? No. Rutgers has 7 wins and gets the slot if they want it...
coldweatherfan Posted November 28, 2007 Author Posted November 28, 2007 The Big East only has 5 slots this year. BCS, Sun, Car Care, Papa John's, International... What about the Gator Bowl?
BucksFan Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 No. Rutgers has 7 wins and gets the slot if they want it... Why would they turn it down?
gametime Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 What about the Gator Bowl? It's a split Big 12/Big East bowl. They only get the Big East twice in 4 years and Notre Dame is included as a Big East selection. There is no chance they cross of Notre Dame or maybe USF for the next two years. They took WVU last year so they will go Big 12 this year...
gametime Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 Why would they turn it down? The only reason would be to fill another BCS slot from a conference that fell short of bids...
