LCA is probably the more talented team, and usually that is the deciding factor.

TheReturn, you said the same thing about Campbellsville being more talented, and Hazard was better at almost every position.

 

Do not get me wrong LCA has alot of talent but Hazard is right there with them, the only thing i can think of, is Lca has a big physical back.

We were busy arguing on the Frankfort/Beechwood thread.

I would absolutely love for Hazard to win this game, especially after seeing that 0-6 record in state semi-final games.

 

But, the earleir meeting is bit misleading considering the turnovers LCA committed, coupled with the fact that the game in question was played at Hazard. I see this one being a shootout, maybe even the best game in the state this week.

Can someone tell me why/what Lca has done to earn 10+ of your picks to win? Not only that, but quite a few people have them winning in a blowout...have they really improved that much from a 41-21 loss previously to this?

My logic was actually proved in reverse last week when LCA and Pikeville played. If you watch the film of that game there was no way that LCA was that much better than Pikeville, but the Panthers costly mistakes, namely turnovers turned what would have been a close game into a blowout.

 

LCA made the looong trip to hazrad in the first meeting, and then proceeded to kill themselves with penalties and turnovers. I expect, playing at home, with the past game in the back of their minds, that this will be a much closer game.

 

The rpessure is on the Bulldogs in this one, not so much the Eagles.
