One other thing Hazzbeen, if you know, how did Banks (I think that is the name of your qb) finish the season stat wise? I was very, very impressed with him and in particular his passing ability, particularly in light of the fact he was getting drilled many times as he was passing the ball. He also seem to run the ball well, although he seemed to be limping a bit. Was he hurt?

 

He's a junior right? He looked liked a pretty big boy. I have to assume that if he has another good year and LCC goes far, he'll attract some college attention. Is he getting any feelers yet?

She was gabbing away with me that night!!! It was great to get to see HHS in person against LCC. I was very impressed with their fans and how hard LCC played the entire game. Their QB is a real gem, and he will be making a lot of noise next year as a senior, I'm sure!

Banks had a pulled hamstring against Highlands but I thought he still had an excellent game. He is one of the toughest kids you will ever see and that is something you cannot coach. LN, he finished the season with 2000 yards in the air and 19 touchdowns, and 900 on the ground with 20 touchdowns. He really did a great job in his first year as the starting QB. He has been invited to the Louisville game this Thursday and Georgetown has sent him a few letters. I look for him to be a big prospect next year.

And yes 72, it sounds like I no longer have to, I mean, get to sit next to Henry during the games. Frankly, I got tired of getting hit by her every time something went wrong for the Birds (and her definition of things going wrong, means not getting a touch down every play we are on offense or causing a fumble or interception every down when we are on defense). And my eardrums will finally get to heal. Man she has a loud whistle. Billy J has nothing on her.

BF, I looked for you around the entrance area where the concession stand is, but didn't see you! Mrs. jbwill2, jbwill2's father, jbwill2's sister, and jbwill2's brother-in-law were all there, but Mrs. jbwill2 and jbwill2's sister got very cold and had jbwill2's mother pick them up about 10 minutes into the game!:lol:
