Some ICN-6 viewers actually have no ties to Covcath or Highlands, and just want to see good games! Who would've thought.

I think showing these games, makes up for a ton of the "Charlie Coleman Campbell County Sports Legends" or at least thats all I see on his show......Seems like every week it's an old Bird on his show......:sssh::lol:

 

BTW Remke's has four stores in Kenton, two in Boone and has as many stores in Ohio, as they have in Campbell County (one)! :lol:

Now I know you're just kidding. But ICN obviously showed last year's regular season game only because it was such a fantastic game. No matter which side you were on, it was a game that will always be remembered. So it only makes sense that they would show that game among the several games that they replayed.

 

I don't think the Highlsnds fans are so petty that they would hold it against a sponsor because a classic game was among those shown on TV. I hope not anyway!

Remke's supplies alot of Bird families food also. I have attended plenty of tailgates, after the game parties and everyday meals with food from Remke's Remke's bread is getting buttered on this side of the Licking and they just better start realizing it. I for one will start Krogering again. :fire:

After they showed the game, they highlighted the '93 Cov. Cath State Championship game. Come on..... Who cares about that game.

The NewCath vs Beechwood regular season game from 2006 is on now.

 

Strange game in that NewCath just dominated the LOS in the first half on offense while running the ball down Beechwood's throat. Then in second half Beechwood flat out shut down the NCC rushing game and came back to win.

 

Never saw such extremes in two halves.

I don't remember them playing the 2005 regular season Highlands vs. Cov. Cath. game last year on Thanksgiving where at the end of the game Petracco pulls in a beautiful pass in the endzone to win the game.
