November 19, 200718 yr Author What kills me is how we can hardly get a post on a thread when the Steelers win but man o' man you let them have a bad day on the field and lose you can bet there will be 30 plus post on the subject. The Steelers are playing lost sometimes no one knows what going on. The defense use to be our best team but they allowed the JETS to march down the field with time running out to score a game tie-ing field goal. UNBELIEVEABLE!! Well onto next week and looking forward to the playoffs which is something that others can't do. Personally, I wouldn't have started the thread if they hadn't lost to the Jets. The only reason I started it was because it was a pretty big shocker IMO.
November 19, 200718 yr  You're hilarious. If you watch football at all, you'll realize that Brady is better than anyone else in the league. If not Brady, who would you say is the best in the game? What I realize is that he has the VERY BEST O-line in the league, bar none. There are a lot of QBs that would be enjoying his success with that line. Then there's the NE D. Favre, Manning, Palmer, Romo etc. They would all shine on that team. IF you're honest, you'd agree, but...

The thing that separates Brady from all those guys is he got 3 Super Bowl rings without a running game, without any big play receivers, etc. He rarely ever makes a mistake. The same can not be said for the 4 guys you mentioned above, although Manning is a not too distant 2nd.

Runs to Fast untracked Willie on the offensive series to leave 3rd and long left them a short field after the punt. Poor coaching played into that as much as anything IMO. And you know what, I'm gonna give the Jets a little credit here, they have led after the 3rd period 5 times this season and couldn't close. Well, figures they'd learn how to close today, with alot of help.

Heck, the Jets got it in already easy FG range off the long punt return. Special teams and the O-line lost this one.

I would agree on both accounts. But really, do you allow anyone to march down the field with 2 plus min. on the clock left. Sometimes you just need to take the bull by the horns. If you would have told me that we are up three and have the JETS on their side of the field 38 yard line I believe an we allow them to march all the way down the field to the 9 yard line for a chip shot field goal to tie? I would have told you NO WAY this defense allows that to happen!

November 19, 200718 yr Author Did you forget about Dillion? He was only there for the 3rd ring....While he was a great addition, I'd hardly say he was the focal point of their attack.

November 19, 200718 yr Somehow no matter the thread subject, the Bengals seem to be brought into everything.
