At 9-3, how good can the offense be? Trinity's is the best I' ve seen, and we stopped it.

No disrepect intended, but what was Marshall's schedule? How many 6A schools, or contenders in other divisions did they play? What about Size and depth? How many go both ways? Anybody?

They played a pretty solid schedule really. There district was very balanced with Graves Co, Daviess Co, Apollo, Henderson Co and Madisonville. Not great teams, but, all pretty solid, capable teams. They played Chattanooga McCallie, in a week 1 bowl game. McCallie plays in the DII 3a in Tn, with MBA, Brentwood Academy, Univ Sch of Memphis and they are very competive in Tns best division. 4a - Calloway Co, a very solid passing team, who was ranked in 4a, at points in the season. A traditional power, Mayfield, who they manhandled 35-7, BGreen, who is an outstanding team and Hopkinsville, who, traditionally are very athletic. Thats about as solid as it gets in W.Ky.. They have decent sized offensive line, pretty quick and do an especially good job run blocking. There D-line isn't real big but they are strong and more athletic than most lines.. There are about 3-4 kids that play both ways but they have pretty good depth and not much dropoff at 2 deep.. They dress about 73 kids. #3 Williams, RB can be a load. He's only about 5"9 185-190, but, is a great athlete with very good quickness and lower leg strength. I would suggest kicking the ball away from him on punts and kickoffs. They have a very nice complex that seats about 10k and it'll be packed, so, expect and prepare for alot of noice. Great fans, though. They have a nice size visitors side, as well. I think you'll enjoy it.

I second the gratitude for the input, hopefully St. X brings its' "A" game. I have seen pictures of the Marshall County basketball arena and that is quite impressive, if the football facilities are anywhere near that scope I will be doubly impressed.

I would like to wish everyone safe travels, a good game, and no injuries.
