I saw Boone on television versus Dixie Heights and was impressed by the passing attack and runing game. If Mr. Hauck had thrown the ball just a little....sorry for the flashback....I did not see Shelby this season. I did see them the past few with Matthews. I like Boone County at home in a high scoring game. Rebels 49 - Rockets 42.

Mr hauck throw the ball? HAHA boy do i remember those days! Boones QB has been off the past few weeks on the pass over throwing alot of recievers! I'm a little worried about the passing attack of shelby though. our dbs arent that big. How big are the recievers for Shelby? and the O-line? Boone seems to be getting pressure on all the qbs so far in the playoffs!

Shelby's recievers are big...and good....and they catch everything. #5 and #23 are as good a duo as I've seen all year.

 

The offensive line has good size and getting pressure on Matthews is not easy rushing only 3 or 4.....but if you blitz he will get rid of the ball underneath. They run screens well too.

 

If Boone is to win this game, they need to get out to an early lead and eat up clock the entire second half.....Shelby has either been down or close at the half the last two weeks but had awesome second halfs in both games to pull out the wins. They are as good at making adjustments at halftime as anyone around....

I second that! The passing of Matthews to Burk and Minnis will be hard to stop for Boone as well. The Rockets can run the ball enough to keep a defense honest BUT that D better get very quick pressure on the QB. Matthews does not hold the ball very long and is deadly accurate. I will have to go with Shelby County in a tight but high scoring affair.

I agree but, he has rushed for 100 yards in both playoffs game!

If Boone was a one man show they would be watching Friday night. I like to here teams say, 'Stop Farris and we win'. Boone has several offensive players that can hurt you on any given play. I saw where Farris said in the paper, 'He didn't care if he got 2 yards, as long as Boone wins'. It's worked for 2 games. Go REBELS !

This will be a big test for the Rebel defense. Boone has not done very well at defending the pass most of the year. It will be interesting to see what changes Boone makes to handle a 90% passing team. And from what we here this boy can hit his mark. Should be a great game with the winner having to get ready for a very tough Louisville team - 'T'. I think Boone wins this with some defensive adjustments.
