Pikeville 55 Paintsville 0 (1A)

Featured Replies

28-0 at the half, Pikeville comes out and blows it open early. Not much of a game.

I predicted that a team that began with a P and ended in Ville would would.

I know that is lame.

Good win for Pikeville.

Why didn't you let me know before I picked!

Seriously, Paintsville seemed down this season. Can Pikeville win at Lexington Christian next weekend? They seem to be playing much better.

Tim Honaker was back at QB for the Panthers tonight. That makes Pikeville's offense much more dangerous out of the option.

Pikeville is bringing it all together at the perfect time. :thumb:

Wow, very impressive....do they seem to be the favorite to take home the title?

Not at all. They'll have their hands full at Lexington Christian next week. If they survive, they get Campbellsville or Hazard. Finally, a trip to Louisville would mean playing either Mayfield/Frankfort/Beechwood...Pikeville is probably the #5 choice AT BEST right now to win Class 1A.

^ thanks.....not knowing much about them, looking at their record and tonight's performance, I was wondering.

IMO Pikeville has just as much talent and potential as anyone in Class A this year. To this point they haven't been able to really put it all together, though it sounded like they played really really well last night. If they can put it all together they can definitely at least get to the title game.

As long as Tim Honaker keeps being effective at the QB this team COULD go a long long way.
