Reading many of the posts about him earlier in the season, it seems this kid pretty much just plays when he feels like it. Maybe WOFO can clearify if this true. But Woodford Co. still has Strange which is a another big playmaker on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball.

They did just fine without him early in the season

Strange (#10) has been a huge playmaker for Woodford all year, he has a bunch of int's and several touchdown catches

i agree i think that Lewis was a playmaker but i feel that one person isnt going to slow woodford down at all they have a lot of heart and everyone here at woodford knows that this could be the last game and they are going to play like it so everyone get ready cause this should be a good game

I agree, one player wont make or break a team. Woodford should be fine. I think they will be the team to beat in this district.

 

Montgomery has had some player changes as well, in key positions.

He is gone and he did not play in the preseason or the Bullet East game.

I agree and I dont think anyone was trying to say that Woodford's hopes were riding on Lewis. I think this offense runs off what Duckworth can get going. If you apply pressure to him without letting him use his speed to escape the pocket and break down coverage, then you have the key. But Woodford Co. is loaded with good skill players so Lewis wont be that detrimental in the overall scheme but it could hurt their ablility in Special Teams IMO.

I think losing Lewis hurts Woodford County at least as much, if not more, on defense than it does on offense.

He has proven to be big on defense in coverage as well, but his big play capability will hurt there Special Teams the most IMO.
