I don't think kids having sex with kids under the age of 16 is legal in this state. Can you prosecute a fourteen year old for having sex with a fourteen year old? I see enough underage parents every day to know that someone needs to teach kids to use, and make available, provalactics.

How about teaching them to be responsible and prevent pregnancy by not having sex rather than give them what they WILL see as an okay by the schools handing out birth control.

Posters on here are going to post things they shouldn't, should guru get rid of all the standards and rules.

You know people are going to speed, so let's do away with speeding limits.

You know people are going to do drugs, so let's just make all drugs legal.

It is not a good argument that just because some are going to not do what is right, we should just make it easier and ok for them.

Not an issue as the homosexual political action committees would never let it get that far because curing it would be seen as saying that it is wrong and need to be cured. Like a disease. So, in essence, they would be admitted that the conservatives have always been right. They ain't doing that.

Schools are already overwhelmed by making up for lack of parenting. In my day schools didnt have to serve breakfast, babysit after school, provide health clinics, or even worse.......day care for students. Now this.

 

Schools should teach....period. I think they should teach about reproduction and birth control. I wouldnt object to posting clinics phone numbers and addresses, but that is as far as it needs to go.

Yeah, people are nuts. I send my kids to school to be educated. I never asked the school to raise my kids for me.:irked:

Also, I have ben polled a couple of times but most of the "poll" calls that I get are what I call the stupid ones asking what household products are used in the home, what pct. of money is spent on certain items..that kind of thing. The couple of calls that got on other matters like politics, etc. - I guess that they didn't like what I had to say or wanted my opinion after they ask for it so they hung up on me:lol: (and there was no profanity involved by the way).

LBBC, I'm not sure why you think that this concept is "nuts." It would dramatically lower teenage pregnancy rates. This is not a bad thing. Teenage parenthood is.

:thumb: Right on the money once again!! Schools can distibute condoms, talk about Budda, Muhammed and all of the other religions, philosophy's "icons of symbols" but just a mention of prayer and Christianity is not allowed.

 

Does anyone really wonder why we have so many problems today ? Look at what is being taught and the things that are accepted in society today and you wll find an easy answer. :irked:
