October 29, 200718 yr Can they turn things around with the addition of Chris Henry in a week or so? It will take more than Chris Henry to turn the Bengals into a football team. This team has many problems that go way beyond the gridiron.

Marvin is a horrible head coach, they need to go after Bill Cowher in the offseason, because that is the only person out there that will bring some maturity and chemestry to that team. Needless to say some discipline also. I think that defense is pretty talented, but they are SO immature that talent does not even come into play. Johnathon Joseph and Deltha O'Neal are pretty good corners, Williams and Jackson are decent, and Justin Smith is just a great defender, he probably works the hardest on the defense. They had a DE playing linebacker a few weeks ago, there is what they need. In the draft, they need to go after a Linebacker in the 1st and 2nd rounds. Woodyard will probably still be there in the 2nd round, take him. I hear that the 2 best linebackers are one off of Ohio State and one at Penn State. Take one of those with your top-10 pick. Horribly immature for a pro team. Justin Smith is not a great defender, and is getting paid way to much money this season..However he does work harder than anyone else on the defense. To bad everyone else on that defense doesn't play as hard as him....

To bad everyone else on that defense doesn't play as hard as him.... On that defenst, I am saying he looks like a great defender because he is the best by default.
October 29, 200718 yr Couple this loss w/ the horrible UK game and this weekend of football sucked. I love my Bengals but I am back to expecting them to find a way to lose which is dis-heartning. The team is a mess, its one thing to lose, but its another to look so listless. One final thought, how can you not take the chance and go for it near the goal when your team is in the kind of shape it is in. Give the guys a shot of making a game changing, season changing play, if it doesn't work at least you made a bold decision.
October 29, 200718 yr Kind of hard for Hall to cover receivers when the defense is down a man, playing with 10 men on the field, when their backs are to the wall. More ridiculuous incompetence when it comes to coaching. No excuse for only having 10 on the field but the 11th players best move would have been picking Hall's jock off the field after the post fake from HW.
