It was always great to go to Homer's before going to a high school football game at Blanton Collier.

This game has lost its excitement when people are talking more about Homer's than what the game is going to be like. I will agree Homer's was a good place to eat but what about the tradition of Paris and the Hard hitting that Bourbon used to bring to the game.Are these teams just not their anymore. I am a old bluejacket player and we have always got up for Paris and the scrimmages we had with Bourbon would get you ready for the season. Lets give these two programs the respect they deserve and get this rivarly going. good luck to both. and let the Bluejackets beat:scared::scared: Bath Co.

How can anyone get "hype" about this game anymore!? I remember growing up this was THE game, but now a lot of people really just don't care to watch these two teams play...

Now that depends on who you are talking to.

There are still some people that get hype about the game.

Not like it used to be, but I don't think you could go as far to say "how could" you get hype over either team.

It's Paris vs Bourbon County .... who cares what the rest of the state thinks or even some people in the community of Paris ... I'm hype because it's a rivalry thing. However, the sad part about it ... unlike the past years, I like both teams. But I'm still pulling for the Greyhounds. After all, why wouldn't I?

We need to face the facts, the glory days are gone and unless some type of miracle happens, they're not coming back. Two struggling programs should make this a very good game!
