It was 13-7 after a Danville TD and we attempted a 2-point conversion. The kick would've made it 14-7. Frankfort scored quick to make it 14-13 at the half. DAnville then scored to make it 19-14 and they again failed the 2-point conversion. If they would've kicked both of those, it would've been 21-14. I think that missed conversion definately came back to hurt them.

 

The only other thing I noticed was that Danville's receivers dropped a few passes that could've led to possibly another score. Other than that, it was just two good teams going at it.

No loss is a A good Loss but the same thing happened to the Ads last year and they made it to the State Championship game...Good luck to Frankfort the rest of the way...Ads you got to keep your heads up and learn from your mistakes...

With out best player and Frrankfort does it again this year. I truely think Coahc Foley deserves alot of credit for the program at Frankfort- he of course has some talent but he has kept it together , won in play offs, has a Mr Football contender( prob would have won it if not hurt) - IMO I think Coach Foley deserves some talk of Coach of the Year in KY. Great win for the panthers and I agree could be going all the way- if I am correct if Mayfield were to beat Fulton Co then Panthers would have home field through out the playoffs, with possible meetings with Mayfield and Beechwood before State finals, looks as if that side of 1A is loaded. I was just looking at the 1A bracket breakdown on the KHSAA website, and it looks like all the top 1A teams are on the same side of the bracket. Fulton City, Mayfield, Beechwood and Frankfort all on the same side. Ouch!!

IMO the 2 point conversion had little to do with the outcome...how about tackling a running back Ads????? Their tackling as a team is some of the poorest that I have ever seen! Their little ole linebackers and db's are so soft! Nice to see #4 Simon back to form!!!!!!! We'll see how far Danville can go in the playoffs..........
