Transfers in the 10th Region

Featured Replies

Don't tell me it's the great educational opportunities at Mason County. What are the circumstances that led this kid to end up at Mason? Wasn't he from Lexington? If not legit, his prescence cheapens and tarnishes Mason's one and only state championship and puts an asterisk (like Barry Bonds) on any future state titles.

Still waiting to hear how a transfer 5 school years AFTER a state title "cheapens and tarnishes" said title.

Seems like some folks' mission in life is to run down a specific person or program. It is sometimes instructive to look at posting history, for example. :sssh:

Like virtually any school - especially a school that tends to be passionate about basketball - there will be a few supporters on the fringe that are a little over the top. Even so, I wonder as well why little ol' Mason County seems to engender so much ill will.

It is not just Mason Co...read some of the threads on the 16th region. Ashland, Rose Hill, Boyd, Greenup. In the 14th June Buchanan has taken its share. Why some cannot support others winning just because of the name of the school......I just can't understand.

Rogers could start varsity this season(he's that good). Wonder why he didn't make the move from Fleming several years ago when the other Rogers' did? The future Panthers will miss him tremendously.

Rogers is no where near good enough to start varsity at GRC. He has a lot of improving to do before he starts varsity. I think he will end up being a nice addition to the team, but he will have to improve quite abit before starting.

From what I have been told...I agree with you. Nice addition, but may not even make the varsity this year. We do have a Freshman, Travis Pervis, that may see some varsity action, and of course Freshman Robbie Stenzel will be starting.

I don't believe Brossart is involved in the same testing system as Mason Co. and the rest of the public schools... What's the average ACT score at Mason Co.?

Brossart's was 23....So yes, LBBC, Brossart's testing scores are better...:D
