Mason County is not the only team that has received transfers in, you still need to do a little homework......Clark County has had a series of transfers that has a pipeline leading from Fleming County.

 

Talking about on a year-in-year out basis. When any of their teams get a little down,whether it be girls basketball,football or whatever, a transfer will come in. For example,after QB 1 Grutza left, in transfers Richie Cox and there are many, many more examples through the years. The Clark/Fleming deal was a one time thing. Would be hard-pressed for another 10th region team to even come close to Mason's transfer track record.

Mason cant help it they recieve transfers......not like we went to ohio looking for ritchie cox.

Ty Sargent- What a great player, if you had a team of players like him you would contend for state every year. Still don't know about the Middleton QB situation,except for hearsay, but a big strapping QB(Cox) showed up at a good time.

Only one team in the 10th gets transfers, whether it be girls/boys basketball or football and that's Mason County

 

Bottom line is this and heres your facts if you want to dispute them.Mason County offers the best education in this 6 county area test scores prove it and Parents and kids want the best for themselves and there kids,Thats 1 reason why theres transfers,Another is people simply move more now in todays time with new jobs in which again if you look around where are all the new jobs in this 6 county area there Maysville its a booming area .And if your referring to the the Big R word than thats against the rules on here.Maybe this will help clear things up for you.:irked:

As did a big strapping center arrive to join Pendleton's basketball team a couple years ago,which put an already good team over the top!!

Ty was small but he was a great athlete and leader,Ask anybody that knows football.Russ was a QB but left the team to start the year to focus on Basketball only after he was beat out of the job.

His Mom does still coach and teach at PC the last I heard. Pat was at Berea I am guessing he still is. I did hear rumblings of a tranfer at the end of last season, but it may have just been kids talking.

I guess it is a transfer but the Workman (mom and dad graduated from PCHS and they lived here during the 97 flood) family is back from Germany and, I believe, mom's stint in the military in Germany. So Pendleton has a boy named Workman that is new.

The Workman kid is back from Germany where his dad had to go for his work.He has been gone only two years and was in the school system all but those two years.His mom was not in the military.:thumb:
