IMO, UC is as good as anyone in the Big East and U of L beat them on the road...and held them to their lowest point total of the season. If that was a fluke, then you're right...but, if the Cardinals are starting to put some things together, we might see a different story...time will tell. Maybe I'm overrating the Bearcats and that win wasn't as impressive...maybe you can help me out with that one. And while I think the Big East is tough and competitive, it's like the rest of college football this year, there are no teams that have separated themselves from the pack. I would eliminate Syracuse, Pittsburgh and UConn...after that, I think the other five teams all have a chance to win the Big East.

The Cards still gave up almost 500 yards, and the two UC fumbles in the red zone ended up being the difference. Hats off to UL for winning the game, but they still have too many flaws to win the conference...

If they keep giving Brohm more control of the game and the defensive line starts putting in the effort to get to the QBs then I absolutely think they have a chance. My hope is still strong that they can do this, but they have to start proving it.

I don't expect them to do it and I'd probably give them worse odds than the other four, but I still think they have a chance, no matter how slim it may be. The Cincy win on the road and just allowing 24 points (despite the yardage) might start to build their confidence and lead to improved play...who knows? I just don't think it's accurate to say they have no chance at all. :thumb:
