The Army IronMan of the Week for week 8 is Bret Denton of Raceland.

Denton rushed for 262 yards, 36 yards receiving, and four touchdowns of offense, and 13 tackles - 6 solo, one fourth down stop, and one forced fumble in Raceland's 54-30 win over Paintsville.

Nice job Bret, Lets have another good game this friday, GO RAMS........

Congrats to a well desrving Bret Denton.

This is a very honorable award for a H.S. athlete and all of Raceland is proud of you.:thumb:

Bret is a force on both sides of the ball at A Raceland as RB and LB. Very deserving of this award, especially when you consider the injuries that he has fought through and still plays hard every day be it practice or a game. If a coach would have a team fulL of Denton attitudes he would never lose.

Bret Denton is U.S. Army Iron Man and he is RAM TOUGH!!!!

Way to go, Bret!!

We at LCA are "painfully" aware of Bret's talents and skills. If we face you again, we will certainly have to "gameplan" around him.

Congratulations!

congratulations Bret!

The Dentonator is defintely an Iron Man! Way to go Bret!

I failed to mention in my eaarlier post of congrats that Bret Denton is also a Fine Young Man as well, too many times those type things get overlooked. Bret's parents are also top notch Christian people and are very well respected here in Ramblerville. :thumb:

Congrats to young Mr. Denton. He put up some very impressive numbers. Is this a regional award, or is it state wide?

Congratulations Bret. Nice award for a great young man.

Also, I would like to give his offensive lineman a thumbs up for a job well done.:thumb:

Congrads to Brett. We are all so proud. I have passed the word on out at KCU to some boys that played with you last year. They are also thrilled you took this home for Raceland

Congratulations Bret. Nice award for a great young man.

That is why I see an award such as this, as a team award. Bret receives the award, but the entire offense is really getting rewarded. And I am sure that Bret would agree that this is as much an award for the offensive line as it is for him. Congratulations to Bret and the entire Raceland Football Team for an award that is well deserved.
