October 19, 200718 yr Ok I have seen alot worse storms with alot less hype.:irked: I don't know what the situation was up there, but in defense of the poor old weather forecasters, the storm weakened a lot as it moved east. I'd like to here from some folks in the counties west of Louisville to see what happened. The system that is now in between Louisville and NKY looked pretty nasty when it was over Evansville, Ind.

Same here...It got pretty hairy here for a while, and it was worse before it got here.
October 19, 200718 yr Came through western Kentucky. Hard. Blew the sign off the post as you enter Possum Trot. They have the 'Welcome to Possum Trot' and 'You're now leaving Possum Trot' signs on the same post. Looks like Bowling Green, Cave City, and Frankfort are about to feel the wrath.
October 19, 200718 yr Well, I'm up out of the basenment...so I guess the tornado can hit now! :irked: Our router on our computer had to be reset -- probably from a brief power dip we had. But other than that, no problems. I can report one isolated incident of damage in the Louisville area. Rockmom reports that her umbrella was turned inside-out, and a perfectly good outfit got a trip through the outdoor spin cycle.
