In my opinion, it's appropriate for the fans to storm the field after a HUGE, unexpected win (factoring in the situation and recent history).

 

Georgia, UL and now LSU certainly qualify.

 

But now that we've accomplished that, I just can't see a win over the University of Florida as being that big, coming after the giant win over #1 LSU. Yes, it will be important and feel very good, but not worthy of storming the field.

 

Let's start acting like we believe in this team, rather than act surprised each time they win.

I still think a win over UF would be HUGE. However, I agree that the fans need to embrace that this is a pretty good football team and let's start saving Mitch some money to help keep some of the assistants. I would MUCH rather the $50,000 he will have to pay in fines go to Phillips, Sanders or Brown for the job they have done on this staff.

I agree. Stay off the field for this one.

 

No sense in rushing the field more than twice in a season. ESPECIALLY when you've beaten the consensus #1 team in the country already.

There was no way we weren't storming the field after the LSU game. I agree though that we don't need to storm the field for Florida and that is no offense to them. However if the fans storm the field I will be on the field with them.

UK has no reason to storm the field for many years..... they beat the unanimous #1 team, it can't get bigger than that!

 

Plus the fine would be either 75K or 100K.... they go up each time.

My buddy and I tried to get on the field last night but there was a wall of people 50 deep that we could not get through. I think we waited too long to make our move.It was very cool watching it all and taking it in.

The best storm the field event happened last year when Rutgers beat UL...that was amazing to watch!
