October 14, 200719 yr The Vols come to T-town to take on the Tide (now tied for 1st in the West, thanks to the Cats). Who wins??? This one will probably be on at 12:30 on LF.
October 14, 200719 yr Bama struggled to beat Ole Miss today, and probably shouldn't have beat them, I really thought that was a completion on the 4 at the end of the game. To be honest I think the honeymoon for Saban is over and Vols win. UT 28 Bama 13

UT 28 Bama 13 It was a completion but you can't go out of bounds and be the first one to touch the ball when you come back to the field of play. The Vols didn't exactly stomp the Dawgs today either.
October 14, 200719 yr "HoneyMoon Over"....Give me a break, thanks for your imput. vols playing better should be a great game. I'll pick a winner on Friday.
October 14, 200719 yr I like the great pumpkin. As do I. UT looked very impressive last week, and I look for them to continue their strong play next weekend.

October 14, 200719 yr Author Ya but I was under the impression that you can't use the replay to determine that was my understanding of the replay rules. I am not sure on the rule, but if the coach is challenging the catch then I think the illegal touching rule would come into play. In a game today there was a challenge on whether a ball was tipped at the line of scrimmage when a pass interference was called. As long as the coach is challenging the play (valid catch) and not the penalty I think it is allowed.
October 14, 200719 yr I'm not sure of the rule either, but the officials job was to make sure it was a legal catch. If the receiver stepped out of bounds without being forced, and then came back in, it can't be a legal catch. The officals obviously got it right, and isn't that what's the most important thing.
October 15, 200719 yr Bama is VERY overrated, they beat a struggling Arkansas team at home at the last second to get the media all over them...TENN. big!
