Anyone else sick?

I have slept off and on about 17 hours today.

 

I will miss the Newark Catholic football game tonight and missed work along with the gym today.I hope to catch the game on the radio and pray the boss does not fire me for missing work for the second time this year.

I think I'm getting the flu.

I get it twice a year(Every since I was a young kid)

The weather changes and bam I get it.

If I go to the doctor they want to start me on some kind of shots. I HATE NEEDLES so I am trying not to go.

Go to the doctor and find out. The flu season is just starting. It could be many thing's.

I don't know your company policy for sick day's. Better to get a doctor's note to cover yourself.

I will on Monday when the doctor opens but, the boss can fire you if he wants, when he wants. He is a bottom line guy and death seems to be the only reason he forgives one for missing work.

Yes, but even with a doctor excuse you can be fired here in Ohio. We are what is called a right to work state(I think that is the term)meaning the company you work for can fire you if they deem it ok to do so.

I doubt it's the flu, more likely a virus or sinus infection or something like that.

Thought I was getting sick yesterday... I was extremely hot and my head and stomach were hurting very bad... But I think it was just because I was going on a short amount of sleep after getting home from BBM and working the next day. After a nice 12 hour nap, I'm doing better.
