It's not having a defeated mentality, it's realizing that your team is outmatched against a better opponent...

Orangeman/Cards

Standford/USC

Applachaian State/Michigan

USF/warbuzzards

Alabama Larry down 19-7 finals of table tennis tourney and he won 21-19.

We all know a lot more, don't kick off/tip off thinking we are gonna lose.

UAB/Wildcats about four years ago.

NC State/Houston 1985

That makes sense for a player, but as a fan you are removed from the event and able to observe objectively.

Habib, so when you go or watch a game as a fan do you think your team has lost before it starts if your team is an underdog?

Nice point, as a fan we have no control, we can't call a play or tackle etc, but positive thinking about your team. Yogi was correct and had it down.

^Man, I guess since you've got it all figured out, we should tell them not to play the next six games. :jump:

Well by looking at the games Louisville has left it's really not that hard to pick out which games they COULD win ( which is a few ) and they will get beat ( most of the games left ). So it's really not that hard for anyone to figure it out.

Did you know Appy State was going to beat Michigan? Did you know USF would beat WVU? Did you know Stanford would beat USC? I would think that after everything that has happened this season in college football that nobody would presume to KNOW anything...I guess I was wrong.

its gonna seem like they aren't playing anyway. I mean if you honestly think they will will more than 2 of their last 6 then i respect that, but i just dont see it happening.

They can beat Pitt but the others look like L's to me. When was the last time a team was ranked in the top 15 at the start of the year and fell to not even make a bowl game?
