Mason County(3A) hosts the bigger Campbell County(6A). Mason is 4-1 and Campbell is 3-2. However Mason's loss came to a bigger 6A school Boone County. Campbell comes off a huge win over Conner. How do you see this one playing out? What does each team have to do to win? :confused:

I like Mason County, they are very athletic and have alot of overall speed, I also think Russell better keep them in the back of their minds.:sssh:

I say Mason Co. continues to roll this week. Hard not to get too excited about playoffs, Louisville, but this team appears to have the right ingredients to do just that... make it to the carpet!!!:thumb:

Agree with score and everything, don't think this one will be close. Campbell County has a linebacker and that is all. Athletes and speed will win this one.

True, a win is a win! I'll take it no matter what the score is. I just think it builds confidence and makes a strong statement when you 'handle' the opponent the way Mason Co. has so far this year, with the exception of Boone Co. And even in that game, the Royals had the lead but failed to put together 4 quarters to get the 'w'.

Don't "send the Camels back to bed" yet! They are traveling down the AA to the Mason oasis with only one purpose... a Royal loss. Camel has more than just a LB this year - their QB has shined in several games this year. Good luck to both teams!

NO WAY!!!!!! The Royals know what's rolling down that AA........................a 6A monster!!!!!!!!! Our boys better lace them up and get ready for a monster battle against a very good Campbell County team. Mason knows they need their "A" game to compete with Campbell!!! Campbell may be 6-A but Mason is very good. Mason county takes this one as long as they come with their A game.

Last time Mason played a 6A team they played a near-perfect first half, only to wear down in the second half. As a 3A school, mason has a lot of guys who play on both sides of the ball.

 

Campbell will be a great yardstick by which to gauge the Royals' improvement over the past few weeks.

 

This one is strictly a tossup.
