Does Lloyd miss Coach Yeagle? I don't mean "hey, we really miss you, Coach" but , rather, has it affected the team in any way as far as performance?

We'll at least we will still be in the playoffs I guess.

Random thoughts:

 

1) Newport really hurt themselves tonight with turnovers. Give Lloyd credit for taking advantage.

 

2) Newport needed to get away from the qb option around the edge. Lloyd really had that defensed well.

 

3) Smallish crowd for a homecoming game.

 

4) Cheeseburgers were great.

I would like to congratulate Lloyd on there first WIN of the season.Turnovers still hurtin the cats they went about 5 out of 20 passing an the run game just was not there for them tonight, the OL couldn't hold a block just a bad game for the Cats. Good luck to Lloyd the rest of the year,Cats keep your heads up its a long year.

Good win for Lloyd. Newport has a fine team and we wish them the best htis year.Newport did have a couple turnovers but both teams played good D and Lloyd was just able to take advantage of a couple of them. Good game team.
