I would be interested to see what the other passengers had to say about the incident. What exactly did her outfit look like? Was she publicly humiliated?

 

What is Southwest's policy? I know what they said to the newspaper but what kind of discretion do they give to each employee when it comes to attire or behavior?

 

At the end of the day she was allowed on the flight and made it to her destination, I'm not a lawyer, so what is her lawsuit?

 

If everything she alleged is 100% true then she is right to making a big deal out of, letting future consumers know where to spend their airline money.

 

If she isn't being truthful, she sounds like someone trying to make a cheap buck in an overly litigious society.

I agree that she may not have looked the same, but a company spokesperson said a passenger could conceivably wear a bikini top as long as all the proper spots are covered. That leaves the belly exposed out, which brings us to the skirt. Just how "high" could she have been wearing it if she was able to board the plane with no problem?

I don't know how I can be any clearer...my one and ONLY point is that how she wore it on the air MAY NOT be how she wore it on the plane.

 

Again..........I don't care if she was naked or wrapped up like a mummy. I have no personal opinion on that. I am bothered by the fact that people think that how she wore it on the air was necessarily how she wore it on the plane.

 

If you go back to my original post (after the "why are we making a big deal about it"), you will see that I made an analogy to dress code issues that I have as a teacher. By the time they get to the office to see the principal for the offense, they have adjusted the outfit and meet regulations.
