Again, if you read the article about it, she was wearing the clothes in a different way than you see pictured. Maybe "arrested" was an over-statement; but I feel strongly that it wasn't appropriate for the circumstances.

 

Of course I read the article, it was just one guy that had a problem with it basically. Sometimes people take their job a little too seriously and get a bit over zealous, I’ve seen plenty of it over the years.

Even if her belly was showing as you pointed out in another post, I still don’t see what all the fuss was all about.

Thats is what I am wondering and I was browsing the thread last night. There is no where on their site that had a dress code but they guys in the paper says that.

In reading the article, I'm not seeing where it says she wore the outfit different on the Today show than she wore it on the plane... That could just be me overlooking it though.

I've seen people wear a lot worse than that on flights, and not have anything said to them.

I went to Southwest's website and searched and found no mention of a dress code. I've never even heard of a airline having a dress code.

I don't see how a company can have a dress code for customers and not have that information visible to its customers.

I think Southwest is wrong here if they are backing up the actions by the flight attendant, but I think they have the right to be wrong.

 

If you don't like girls in short skirts don't fly Southwest...should fix the problem.

This includes skirts/shorts too short, shirts showing stomach or mid-drift, etc. I don't imagine for a minute that they way she appeared on the Today Show was exactly as she appeared on the flight.

Yes, but that doesn't change the very good possibility that she made the same clothing more presentable for the cameras.
