Announcer at the Johnson Central/Bryan Station game...

Featured Replies

The game was at BS. The announcer saw the Eagles getting off the bus & he did not know his mic was on & he said, "There will be no country music played tonight." By the way, JC won the game...by 36 points.

Oops.

Maybe Cowboy Troy??

Yeah I heard that lol. No one from JC that I know of took offense to it. I just thought it was kinda funny myself. Maybe they were dissatisfied with their game experience at JC last year.

I don't think the announcer was sterotyping. The PA man at JC loves to play country music during the ballgames.

The only music played tonight at BS should have been "Taps".

Like Bryan Station is in the big bad city anyway. They are literally five minutes away from farms by Russell Cave. There is no reason any Lexington school should say something like that, and very few Louisville schools even draw a student body that would be out of place with a few country songs.

Some things are better left unsaid.
