^^^ I wonder how Gene would feel about that comparison? :D

I feel old when my nephew and neices ask "What's that?"

Disco will never die.

Regretfully not :scared: and I am child/h.s. grad of 75" . :D

A lot of hits with lyrics, that many of us can still sing along to, today.

:thumb: The bee Gees were great.

The first Bee Gees song that I can remember was Jive Talking/Before Saturday night Fever. I liked it but it got old Quick...:thumb:

I'm a Bee Gee fan. I just bought a DVD of one of their concerts from the late '90s. I like their early music, however, much better than the disco stuff.

Before disco, I liked them.

I do not consider the SNF songs "disco" songs. They were great dance songs made during the disco era. Maybe I am wrong.

Nothing better than slow-dancing to the Bee Gees with your girl as a FROSH in high school in the basement of your buddy's house .

Oh, the memories!

I have to concur. I remeber the date afterwards. Went to Maysville to eat at

Deshea's. Then rest of the night was GREAT!!!!:ylsuper: :ylsuper:

I think the Bee Gees are to music what Gene Hackman is to movies. Quality, quality work that has spanned decades and should be among the heavyweights of their respective industries without getting top billing or critical acclaim.

Well put and right on the money...:thumb:

Ok, I will admit I bought an Andy Gibb Album when I was 12, dont ask me why.

I like the falsetto disco era Bee Gees, but the late 60's/early 70's music by the Bee Gees is REALLY good if you've never experienced it.
