September 2, 200719 yr cshs81 What's wrong with Sean? Is he playing linebacker or fullback? Great kid, great family. We wish him well.

Knowing Sean pretty well, I won't be surprised if he never plays again unfortunately. He's had problems with his head (concussion/blackout type stuff). We shall see.

September 2, 200719 yr Thanks, OG. He wasn't on the roster I saw. Get that leg some ice! When I saw the score of the game, then I knew Josh would be getting a workout. Not bad for your first college game averaging almost 40 yards a kick..... I can bet that one proud Dad was watching the game and although he was unhappy about the team getting beat so badly, was happy to see his son on the field a lot.... :thumb:
September 3, 200719 yr How about Sam Flynn with 10 tackles in his first college game? That kid was truthfully put on this Earth to play LB. Congrats Sam.
September 3, 200719 yr Couldn't have said it better than hssportsrbest, that kid is a tackling machine.

Campbellsville 0 Ohio Dominican 71 Punting No Yards Avg TB I20 Lg Blesser 10 399 39.9 1 1 62 Wow, 10 punts in one game. Bleser was the most impressive Colonel last season IMO. Too bad he is playing for a team that got destroyed by 71 points. I'm sorry but that is more than a good ole fashion butt whipping.
September 3, 200719 yr Brian Piper caught two TD's in the Georgetown-Wofford game. He always had great hands and ran routes well, but, that boy has really improved his speed!!!! Piper is a team captain this year as well. Wofford was pre-season number 14 in 1-AA. Georgetown played well and was down 24-21 with 5 minutes to play. Defense had Wofford, 4th and two on our 40 something and gave up a long run for the score. Then Wofford threw a deep post with a minute and change to bolster their poll value. Final 38-21. Spradlin was second string, made the travel team but did not see action in the game. The o-line as a whole played pretty well.
September 3, 200719 yr Author I somehow forgot this young man: KY Wesleyan: Joe Smith 06 RB - injured due to ACL injury sustained in practice

I'm sorry but that is more than a good ole fashion butt whipping. Bet his Dad that before this season was over, CU would have Josh at least practicing as a QB. He is far too good of a player, to be just punting. The kid is a winner/leader on and off the field, and if CU wants to win, then they will have Josh starting as the QB one day, before he graduates from CU.....

I didn't bet Kevin, but....I thought along the same lines.
September 3, 200719 yr Shane Popham dressed in the Wake @ Boston College 9/1/07. He is the # 2 kicker, #2 punter and new skill # 2 holder. Congrates to Josh and the rest of the Colonels
