Apparently everyone in the Raceland/Worthington area has a bluegrasspreps account. Surely it isn't bulletin board material, considering most who post have no affiliation with the above mentioned programs, at least I would hope they don't. I have noticed that when Raceland is winning in any sport there are lots of Ram fans on here. I also noticed that when they lose (ex: East Carter in baseball the last few years) there is very little mention of the game. In fact they turn to the JV game that they won to have something to discuss. That being said I believe Raceland will win this game, but i am afraid it might be the same old story come playoff time.........NKY and done! I hope I am wrong.

 

I have been a member for a few months and I always give give credit where credit is due. Raceland has had several good teams in various sports the past few years. The community and fans have always supported them and are very proud of them. I , personally , have supported other local teams that has done well. I may root louder for some than others but still I do support most local teams that advance in their sports. Point in case : Russell in football... Greenup in baseball ..

 

I also remember seeing fans from Boyd County and Greenup at the State Championship games. I'm sure there were other supporters from other schools in the region there too.

Sorry rambler, it looks like they're doing the Russell-West Carter game.

The playoff opponets / districts have changed this year. Raceland will not play NKY untill the State Finals if they get that far. Someone can correct me if this is wrong.

 

I also have noticed a lot more Raceland fans on here but I contrary to your belief/assesmant I have also noticed that a lot of us have posted when losing a game as well. Giving credit to the opponets and not getting into a gripe contest on the reasons or maing excuses. Should we lose we aknowledge it, give congrats to the opponet and go on. Raceland football has long standing tradition, we have certainly had down years as well and have always rebounded from them. Last season was very good - this season imo will be a good one and next season is shaping up to maybe be better than ever. I don't know. We have an awfully young team this season.

:laugh: My post was a joke that is why I had the :lol: icon there. I realize fully that rotating is what they do and was just joking around with LRCW. :thumb:

I kinda get irritated at WUGO and the Grayson Journal-Enquirer quite a bit. :madman: These two are Grayson based but on any given day or week they carry more info. on the West end of the county than the East. They dominate the paper every week in the sports section. Olive Hill even have their own paper too.:confused: :confused: Explain that one too me.

East will be a lot better come the district games, and hopefully the playoffs. A new system takes time to run effectively.

 

Does East have a good Kicker? Just wondering since you posted 3 for East.
