Yes, they did. Bird only had 4 of the 36 points scored...credit the others to Peters, Hawkes, Sullivan and whoever forced the intentional grounding by pinning the QB back in the endzone for the safety.

 

So...for those who doubted that Trimble could win a game without Bird scoring the majority of points and having most of the yards...here is your example. :thumb:

2 int's for touchdowns! That's how you give Mr. Bird a break so does not have to carry the ball 36 times. Nice win!
