About what I expected. Belfry is definately the better team. LC usually has a solid showing against Belfry. I dont know what is going on in LC, I expected this would be the year that they would finally start to become the LC of ole, but there has to be alot of questions in LC.

Congratulations to Belfry on a great game.

Tough loss for the Bulldogs. Keep your heads up guys and continue to work toward your goals. A little extra hard work and keep believing in your coaches will get you back in the hunt.

Stay Positive.

Good job Pirates! I've always been a fan of Coach Haywood but after being their last week and meeting the fans, seeing the facilities, and the way we are treated, I'm a fan of Belfry football. Keep up the good work and hopefully I'll see you guys in Louisville come December!

Way to go Belfry, I wished Belfry could have had another tougher game before Pikeville. SV wont be to bad but still I would have liked to have had another Corbin type game.

LC hang in there guys, you have as fine as fans and players as anybody. A team with a classy program will get better in time and one day you guys will be back to Lawrence of old.

With the likes of Belfry, Johnson Central and Bell County football in the mountains is alive and well.

Belfrey looks like a monster this year. They seem to have a lot of parts that fit well.

Wheres all the response from the Lawrence fans?

I was wondering about that as well. I was hoping to hear their aspect of the game. Is this the worst LC has looked the past couple years that Belfry has played LC or is Belfry just that much better this year than the past couple years.

Wheres all the response from the Lawrence fans?

Here's one lC fan thats still proud to be a part of the dawg family. To begin with Congradulation to Belfry looks like agian they have a very fine football team and IMO they have one of the best places in the state to play high school football I love going to the Cam and I have allways been treated very well there they have great fans to go along with their team. As for the game I thought that belfry was just way to strong for us in all parts of the game . I thought it was a good clean game and I think Mr. Haywood and his hole program is a class ack. They could have named the score on us if they wished but did the right thing and let thier younger kids get some PT . Yes we left are starters in untill the middle of the fourth period but I think it was because our kids are still trying to get it together . I hope that all of the kids keep in mind that we have the tuffest schdule around and if we can just stay healthy and not get beat down mentally then I believe we still have a shot at winning our district . So good luck to Belfry and maybe next year we can put up a little better game for you all. As for the Dawgs this week is going to be just as tough SC has a very good and tough team also . So get ready for another battle and lets try and come out with some fire in our belly at the first of the game . Good luck and GO DAWGS.

Just out of curosity, how would you stack this Belfry team over the teams you have faced the last couple of years?

Belfry has always gotten better as the season goes on I think thats way we alway's try and play them in the first couple of games into the season because we know that they just get better as they go . In the years past we have always been able to give them a good fight but this year it was a no contest. I think the team we have this year is just about as good as the teams we have had the last couple of years but we are trying a new offence. But just to answer your question from what I saw Friday night I think you all have a better tean then you have had in the last two years . I know we sure didn't expose any weakness but thats not to say that you don't have any. The bigest thing that I was wondering about was way so many starters going both ways with the large numbers Belfry has ? If they aren't very deep then that might catch up when you play SC or pikeville and I know it will when you play JC . But I think Belfry can hold thier own with any body they have to play this year . Hope this helps.
