The biggest one I felt was the one on Tatum Lewis....maybe someone can explain that one.

Also any news on the lady that was hurt last night??

The only thing I can guess is that after the sack, they both stood up and Tatum turned to return to the huddle and bumped him. It was called for unsportsmanlike conduct, but it was a horribly bad call. There was no taunting. Not by a class player like Tatum Lewis.

I heard late last night that she was taken to Mary Chiles (Mt. Sterling hospital) fo X-rays & obersvation. I haven't heard if she was released or not.

What a great game to watch. I went as a spectator no ties to either team saw two great looking high school football teams compete & not get the game decided until under a minute to go. This why high school football to me is the best.

:thumb: Exactly. Nothing compares to the heart and emotion of High School football. I love going to watch teams I have no ties to just as a spectator of what a pure and hard sport High School football is. College Football for me is right behind High School, but HS has the #1 spot for me.

This was my take on it too. Knowing Tatum..he is a class act all the way...on and off the field.:thumb:

You are right. That and the fumble on the kickoff on the next drive was huge. That did not allow the defense anytime to rest.

Terrible call. He bounced up to go back to the huddle, pads bumped into the QB and here comes the flag. Absolutely pathetic. Almost like they were just looking for things to call against them. I also hope that the lady injured is ok. Looked like a pretty hard hit. Prayers to her and her family.

I just recieved word that the woman that was hit on the sideline was released early this morning and is at her home resting.

Prayers be with her for a speedy recovery!

I thought that one was fairly obvious. The GRC kid made a great play - followed up with a bump to Curtis.

The call I thought helped MC the most was the holding penalty on the last drive against GRC. It forced them to have to try a field goal instead of having a chance for a touchdown. Their kicker had already missed an extra point earlier in the game. What an awesome block coming around the end for MC. Great game.

Glad to hear that she was released. Hope for a speedy recovery.:thumb: As for the contact with the qb... Yes it was obvious they made contact but it was unintentional. The officials should have let the players play the game instead of making it about themselves. Agreed that the holding call at the very end killed GRC's chance. Not taking anything away from MC though, they had to make that block to preserve the win.

After the game the Indians ran up next to the field house and huddled around their former asst. coach who has been sidelined by liver cancer. Very cool.

If someone could help me out - I'm drawing a blank on his name.

That was very cool on the Indian's part!

As for the game...it was great. Super atmosphere and hard fought on both sides. Caleb Curtis played great, along with Zach Stoub.

As for the "bumping" call...from where I was (up by MC's locker room) it looked like the GRC kid made a great defensive play, pushing Curtis down for the tackle. Curtis looked to be 5-6 yards from the player and he went to Caleb to make sure he knew who made the play. Contact or not, this will probably be called unsportsman-like conduct all year. Any way, that's not what decided the game. It was MC's fight that brought them back and gave them the victory.

Great game. Awesome atmosphere. Caleb Curtis was not going to be denied in this one. He was teriffic on offense - running and passing. He had some HUGE hits on defense too.

#2 for MC - Frosh Seth Dotson made a big time catch to set up the last touchdown for MC. He was wide open on about the 5 yard line. Curtis threw a bomb from about the 45 and the ball got to Dotson at the same time 2 GRC Cards did. Serious concentration.

The few, the proud, the TRIBE!!!

GRC, needs to find a feature back, the go to man, let him get established running behind that O-line, and rally the other backs behind him.

Penalty yards were 148 to 146.

I would like to see the breakdown on the penalties. I seemed like Clark racked way more than M/C. (I was guessing it was 150 Clark/90 M/C)

M/C did come to play last night. Congrats to those guys!
