#12 Adam White does not have to throw it to himself, TT will be ok and did a very fine job throwing it to Adam. To say they will win only 2 games is a little crazy this early but everyone has the own opinions. But lets not forget SW has a very expirenced recieving core and has many threats. I look for #3 Fred Hutchenson to have a big game this week.

I would have to disagree with this statement... Adam is the only returning WR who played last year ( or should I say quailty mins). Talented Yes... Expirenced No.

I have said it from day one if Adam cont. to get better, he could be one of if not the best player to ever play at SWHS and maybe in the county period (this includes Somerset). This kid is so talented! He may not have the outstanding stats but that's b/c he can play so many spots on the field.

In my humble opinion, the talented group of young receivers is as good as we have had as a unit. The reason we are not all that game tested is that our guys played behind the most talented group of receivers last year. Our guys performed excellent in the passing tournaments and did get alot of experience there. Also, they have worked rear hard in the weight room and are a strong bunch. I feel that with the strong arm of TT and the talent of our receivers that as quick as we get into that "groove", we will be awesome...Experienced...not so much...Talent...loaded...

Danville wins in a big way. It is going to be a very long season for the warriors. The only real threat they have is #12 and he cant throw it to himself. Southwestern may only win 2 games this year.

 

I know the warriors may be young, and probably not looking to sharp as they are very inexperienced all the way across the board, but I can assure you that Coach A will have that team on top in a few weeks. I doubt you will ever see a Dale Anderson team only win 2 games in a year.

I also think that Danville will bounce back and win this one. It will be a good one though.

How is the comparison even in line with the topic of the thread?...It is like comparing apples to oranges when the conversation is about football, SWHS and Danville... :confused: We will watch the stats and let them be the judge this season...

I'm not sure what MM did wrong there. There was a bunch of discussion about White and how key he is to the Warrior offense. MM offered a prediction on the score and said that White is talented, just not as good as Cole. That's hardly a swipe at White because to equal what Cole has accomplished he'll only have to set several single season and career receiving records. I think what he was getting at is that while White is a great receiver he doesn't think he'll be able to dominate Danville's defense and SW will lose by a couple of touchdown. I don't agree with his prediction but I didn't detect any malice or unreasonable statements in it.
