No offense to my local county brotheren, but Danville wins by 2 TDs and Adam White is talented but not the player the Vandy Kid (Somerset's Cole) is or will be. He is special IMO.

 

Southwestern will be fine as the year goes and I can't wait until the Maroons match-up with them BUT there is an angry Harp playing in Danville and their chinstraps are going to be on tight....lookout for chin music! That said BEAT DANVILLE Warriors anyway....I hope so.

 

 

Well no offense but I disagree with your opinion about White and Cole. While Cole is very talented Yes, Adam White IMO is more of a pure athlete then Cole. In no means am I taking anything away from John Cole and his obvious productive career. Adam White could play anywhere on the field and be very productive doing so. I commented earlier in this thread; that is the reason White may not put up the BIG #'s is because he is so versatile. With Adam one would have to look at his all purpose yards to measure greatness. That being said I expect to see the Warriors in the game late with a chance to win it.

I'm not sure what MM did wrong there. There was a bunch of discussion about White and how key he is to the Warrior offense. MM offered a prediction on the score and said that White is talented, just not as good as Cole. That's hardly a swipe at White because to equal what Cole has accomplished he'll only have to set several single season and career receiving records. I think what he was getting at is that while White is a great receiver he doesn't think he'll be able to dominate Danville's defense and SW will lose by a couple of touchdown. I don't agree with his prediction but I didn't detect any malice or unreasonable statements in it.

Keemo it was my fault for saying he COULD be the best. I didn't say he is, was, or will be. He has the Potential.

I totally agree with you posters that suggest that Adam can be the best ever. His future is bright. But, as a Junior he has 2 full seaons to show his stuff (and he will). Back to the game... Danville apparently lost quite a few to graduation as did SWHS. The ability of Coach Harp to reload is unquestionable. The ability of Coach A and his fine Staff to prepare and reload is also unqustionable. So, we have the makings of an epic battle between two top-notch programs. It will be what Friday night football is all about...:thumb:

This is always a terrific match up. I think SW regroups this week with the lines receiving alot of love from coaching staff at practice. Players have got to wrap their heads around the "TEAM". I hope to see a little more head slaps, helping folks up and chest butting from the SW players.

Yes, congrats to the Blair's on their new arrival of a baby boy. Im gonna go ahead and be the first to say, that Fri. night may well be a barn burner at the reservation, could come down to the last drive to see who wins.
