Highlands 49 Ryle 21

Featured Replies

If Ryle is #2 in NKY it's gonna be that kinda year for NKY football I guess. They had a decent-good rushing attack. Bad-average passing game. Overall team speed couldn't keep up with HHS. And there defense can not make open field tackles. If Conner holds onto the ball this could have been about a 55-62 - 7-14 game.

There are "if onlys" in every game both ways. No need to play that game. The game could have been much closer "if only" Ryle did not hand the ball over in Birds territory 3 times early. The score was what it was. Ryle will improve drastically over the season and the Birds will improve to a lesser extent (they are that good already). It will be another good year for NKY football with a number of teams that get pretty darn good by the end of the year.

Ryle ranked #2 in NKY. Who are these other really good teams you speak of?

Who has Ryle ranked #2?

My guess is that they're behind HHS, Beechwood, Dixie, Boone at least.

I think the Enquirer did.

I went to both the Varsity game and the JV game this morning, WOW it might be a long 3-years for Ryle. Great job by all the Birds!
