What's next for the Big East?

Featured Replies

Because they don't have a title game. Unless you get to drop that for a "down" year. After all that's the only way the BEast can win a BCS game against one of the mighty cash cow....errr....title game conference powers... ;)

My thoughts exactly. It's easy to attack from all angles but not quite so easy to back up the argument.

If your only arguement is that the BEast doesn't have a title game, therefore they aren't deserving of a BCS bid, you REALLY should pick a different angle...

UK could have beat Wake Forest Last year.....

Absolutely not..Wake would've been a matchup NIGHTMARE for UK last year....that's ok...they beat a downtrodden Clemson team.

Clemson did win a great game which I believe was at Wake Forest but you can't deny that Clemson was on a major down slide at the end of the year.

Beat up on 2 teams that are at best, Average.....:thumb:

Please!

You're calling the SEC Conference Champion "average" at best...now that is a Joke. I assure you, the team that makes it through the SEC and wins the conference title game, is far better than average...without exception.

If I were you, I'd go check up on that Georgia team and reconsider calling them average, at best. I suspect if this thread were anti-SEC and someone put that Georgia team down, your take on them would be different, but I could be wrong...

Unfortunately, after playing the Big East Conference champ, they did look kinda average...

I am not denying that. I just like to mess with RockPride. :D

Apples and oranges though....Wake turned the ball over 4 times that game. By far the most they had all season.

:irked: . . . ;) hahahahaha

Ifs and buts. Don't try to pull that crap. Clemson beat them. End of story.

^ Whippdeedoooo....4 turnovers in a conference game is doom 99% of the time.

And that was precisely ONE more than Clemson had.

Actually.. come to think of it, they had three turnovers against UofL. Which was only one more than UofL.

So if Clemson's win doesn't count by your logic, then neither does UofLs. Care to agree on that?

UL fans will find anything to make UL look great.......But I see your point.
