I didn't realize Elvis and Kerry Rhodes were from Louisville. Learn something new every day...

Not to mention the Super Bowl MVP...

Yeah but your missing the point. My point is I don't think they can rely on Louisville bringing them guaranteed first round talent each year like they have with Brohm and Bush. They will have to get it done outside of LVille. LVille has kinda spoiled them the last 5 years. Take Brohm and Bush away for UL the last 4 years and they were a middle of the pack team in the BEAST.

UofL has been recruiting like crazy the last few years from all over the country and it's doing nothing but getting better.

Do you think that EVERY BCS conference deserves its BCS game EVERY season? Other than the BEast of course...

Yes, most of them have earned it through years of being amoung the best conferences in the nation and not just one of the best for a couple of years. Others have their opinions and that is fine. I just stated mine.

A conference championship, while it is fun for the fans, and is a cash cow for the conference, doesn't really make much sense after roughing through a brutal schedule (ie..the SEC), you have to come back and beat another one?

The Winner of the SEC gets a BCS bid, But in order to get there, you have to win the Conf. Championship, While the Pac10, BE, And Big Ten are handed a spot.

When somebody from a power conference, hello SEC (Georgia) and ACC (Wake Forest), beats the Big East BCS representative in a BCS matchup, I'll consider saying they aren't deserving of their bid. :thumb:

Beat up on 2 teams that are at best, Average.....:thumb:

Simply because they don't meet NCAA guidelines for a Conference Title game...

But heck. Both won a Conference Title game. Which is it???

Hard to believe the University of Cincinnati has a better 2008 recruiting class THUS far.

Are you really going to tell me Wake was the best team in the ACC?

Sadly they were last year I guess.. but most people will agree the Wake game was a gimmie.

I'm telling you they met the requirements you seem to hold at a very high standard...

Ahh, It's lose/lose on here, Some teams have a tougher road to go down, I just feel 2-4 conferences are given a BCS Bid.

Since when?

Since when?

They won their division of the ACC and then won a conference title game that you keep talking about with great respect. Let me guess, Clemson was the best in the ACC. Again. Which is it...

The ACC as a whole was weak, When I see some BEast teams beating up on LSU, Florida, Oklahoma, Texas and so on, I'll give credit, UK could have beat Wake Forest Last year.....
